I've been known to be a bit picky and someone who has high standards. :-) My experience with Whitney and Camp Casey was fantastic. I've stayed in many ADK camps, and this is the first time I've found a property that matched the quality of finishes and attention to detail in my own home. The property itself is top notch, the location great, and they seem to have anticipated just about anything you might need while staying there.

We stayed here for a long weekend in Feb 2015. We were completely satisfied and will definitely stay here again. Very clean, warm, comfortable and cozy home. They thought of everything. The pictures do not do the house justice, it is actually much nicer in person. The owners are very friendly and accommodating. I strongly recommend Camp Casey for your vacation needs.

We just rented the cabin for a second special occasion, the Christmas Holiday week. As it did when we first rented it in May, the cabin again impressed us with it's luxurious comfort and homey feeling. The first time we rented it we thought it was perfect, yet the owners have managed to make several additional finishing touches since our last visit which have truly made the property perfect. My nieces loved playing in the back yard, lounging on the comfy couch, and playing games at the kitchen table. This is a really special cabin and I recommend you rent it if you're looking the visit the ADKs!

This rental exceeded all of our expectations. I had family in town for a collage graduation and needed a place for everyone to stay. This cabin easily slept all 8 people comfortably and everyone really enjoyed the spacious common areas and amenities! The provided kayaks, safety gear and other perks to this cabin are extraordinary. I'm a bit of a clean freak and this rental was absolutely pristine when we arrived. Even though the cabin is situated close to a road, once inside or in the backyard (on the beautiful wooden deck or around the fire pit), you easily feel like you're secluded in the woods. Having the convenience of wilderness recreation opportunities and tourism (Saranac Lake, Lake Placid) opportunities within close proximity to this cabin make it perfect. We are planning on renting this cabin again in the future. I 100% recommend this rental to anyone who wants a great experience at a great value.

I WAS LOOKING FOR A PLACE TAKE GO WITH MY SON AND DAUGHTER (& THEIR GIRLFRIEND AND BOYFRIEND) BEFORE THEY BOTH HEADED OFF TO COLLEGE. I WANTED A PLACE THAT COULD ACCOMMODATE ALL OF US, THAT WAS WITHIN A FEW HOURS OF HOME, THAT ALLOWED BOOKING FOR A 3 NIGHT WEEKEND, AND WAS CLOSE TO WATER, MOUNTAINS, AND LAKE PLACID. I LOOKED AT SEVERAL PLACES ON-LINE BEFORE FINDING THE CAMP CASEY POSTING. IT WAS A "LAST MINUTE" BOOKING AND THE OWNERS COULD NOT HAVE BEEN MORE ACCOMMODATING - RETURNING MY PHONE CALLS / E-MAILING INFORMATION, ETC. IN A TIMELY FASHION. UPON OUR ARRIVAL, WE WERE SO PLEASED WITH THE CABIN - ITS PICTURES DID NOT DO IT JUSTICE. THE CABIN ITSELF IS BEAUTIFUL - THE ATTENTION TO EVERY DETAIL IS MAGNIFICENT. IT WAS PLENTY SPACIOUS FOR 5 OF US. EVERY ROOM OF THE CABIN WAS BEAUTIFULLY DONE - THE KITCHEN IS EXTREMELY WELL "STOCKED". THE CABIN IS REMOTE ENOUGH TO FEEL LIKE YOU ARE "AWAY FROM IT ALL" BUT CLOSE ENOUGH TO BE ABLE TO ENJOY THE LAKES & MOUNTAINS & LAKE PLACID. THE AREA IS "RUSTIC" ENOUGH THAT WE COULD ENJOY A CAMPFIRE OUT BACK, BUT THE AMENITIES INSIDE THE CABIN HELPED THE NIGHT IT RAINED. I WOULD DEFINITELY GO BACK FOR ANOTHER STAY AT CAMP CASEY AND WOULD HIGHLY RECOMMEND IT. THANK YOU SO MUCH TO THE OWNERS - YOU HAVE A GREAT PLACE THAT WILL BE ENJOYED BY MANY. AND - THANK YOU FOR MAKING IT SO EASY TO MAKE THE ARRANGEMENTS.
